Christine Chiu concentrated in biology and math in high school and later majored in English and Japanese in university. She graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with double majors in English and Japanese.
After taking some time off to volunteer in an economically disadvantaged area in Taiwan teaching English, she entered law school, where her varied interests had her studying intellectual property, wills and estates, tax law, family law, and a plethora of other topics. She graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law, and is always on the quest to learn something new and apply her newfound knowledge to help others.
Aside from teaching and tutoring English, Ms. Chiu has edited essays and scientific articles, and has brought her experience with voluminous documents and attention to detail to her legal profession, where she quickly and efficiently reviews various documents, cross checking for consistency, and following up with counsel and clients alike to facilitate a client’s legal matter.
Ms. Chiu can converse in English and Mandarin, and has studied other languages including Japanese, French and Taiwanese. She enjoys spending her leisure time reading, slaying dragons, and doing small things to make her family smile.
